Is EZ Speedy BPA free?

Yes, EZ Speedy is made from 100% BPA-free plastic.

How To Assemble?

1. Hold the cover ring in one hand and place the round gear base into the middle.

2. Take the top cover part and align the line marking on it with the unlock sign on the cover ring. You will feel the bayonet sliding into place.

3. Turn the top cover part towards the lock sign to lock it.

4. Turn the assembled cover around and fix all whisks to the pins of the round gear part. You will hear a click.

5. Place the cover on the base. The teeth on the tab have to sit in the opening of the handle. Note: If not placed correctly, the base will deform.

6. Place the handle on top of the cover. You will hear a click.

7. The EZ Speedy is now fully assembled.

8. The funnel can be placed on the opening that is right above the spout. The opening is covered with a small silicone tab, that can be turned aside.

How To Disassemble?

1. Start by pulling off the handle.

2. Lift the cover from the base and put the base aside.

3. With one hand, hold the tab on the cover ring, with the other hand, the top cover part. Then, rotate the cover to the right, towards the unlock sign.

4. Lift the top cover part and put it aside.

5. Lift the round gear part out of the cover ring.

Note: You don’t have to disassemble the whisks from the gear base, but it is possible to do that by pulling on the whisks and attaching them as instructed on the previous page.

How To Use?

Gear I:

1. Change to gear I by turning the gear knob towards the indicated I on the cover.

2. Use gear I for airy and light preparations.

3. In gear I, with one full turn of the handle you get one full turn of the gear disk with whisks.

4. The force needed in gear I is greater compared to gear II.

5. When trying a new recipe, start in gear I. If, at any moment, the resistance is too high, switch to gear II. For some recipes the resistance can be from the beginning, for others it may not come until later.

Light preparations are: egg whites, whipped cream, omelettes.

Gear II:

1. Change to gear II by turning the gear knob towards the indicated II on the cover.

2. Use gear II for thicker preparations.

3. In gear II, you get with one full turn of the handle, 1/3 turn of the gear base with whisks. Compared to gear I, gear II is slower.

4. The ratio of turns of handle and gear disk with whisks significantly reduced the force needed to mix thick preparations.

Thick preparations are: meringue, cake batter, mayonnaise.

The funnel:

1. The funnel fits in the opening of the cover that is closed with a silicone tab. Lift the silicone tab and turn aside.

2. The funnel is a great tool to pour in small amounts of liquids without taking off the EZ Speedy cover completely, or to add liquid ingredients with a steady flow, as needed for mayonnaise with oil.

3. To use the measurements inside the funnel (max. 50ml/1.7oz), place the funnel in the closed position. The small opening inside the funnel is closest to the silicone tab. Once the funnel is in the closed position, you can pour in the liquids and measure them.

4. Turn the funnel counterclockwise to gradually increase the flow. For additional help, there is a marking included on the edge of the funnel indicating the flow speed.

How To Clean?

1. Disassemble the product.

2. All parts are dishwasher safe with a maximum temperature of 65°C/149°F. NOTE: Dishwashing at a higher temperature, can lead to discoloration of the cover and fading of the print.

3. You don’t have to disassemble all whisks from the gear disk.

4. When washing by hand, make it easier by giving it a prewash: pour some soapy water inside the base, cover, set to gear I and turn a few times before you wash the EZ Speedy thoroughly.
